Lovely light and lavender in Cornwall

Buckets of the stuff, I'm thinking of making some lavender hand cream / foot cream / body scrub; the list goes on.

Goldwork at the Royal School of Needlework

A recent Goldwork course at the RSN at Hampton Court Palace; what a treat. The work is nearly finished now, and absolutely satiates a thirst for obsessively tiny and time consuming hand work.

 The old harbour is a fantastic spot, really quiet. Had a wander down there on my coffee break from the workshop and sat in the sun briefly before the wall of cloud from the last 2 months returned...

First night

The first night in my new home. The sun dipped behind the trees as I approached along the coast, from Brighton. The brambles all along the road will be fruitful soon.

 Some delicious Spanish smoked paprika with dinner.

Perched in the garden watching the sun go down. Good night.
